Ebonized Cedar of Lebanon Bowl
The bowl pictured above was hand turned by me and then treated with a torch to ebonize the wood. The ebonization is what gives the bowl its distinct contrast in grain pattern and colors, strikingly bold and attention grabbing; this process also gives the bowl texture where one can feel the differences in grain when running the finger along the inside of the bowl and also a rustic, aged, weathered/worn look/feel. The bowl has imperfections and is not meant for liquids. It is a shallow, decorative bowl that would be great for display, jewelry or fruit truly the uses are myriad and limited only to your imagination. The bowl has a matte finish.
Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to look at my work and I look forward to doing business with you.

Frequently Asked Questions
Custom and personalized orders
I do take custom orders and anything that you see in my shop can be personalized or modified for you. I always enjoy working on your personal projects and helping you get what you want. The personal service to you and the challenging work customization provides is exceedingly satisfying. If there is something that you do not see in my shop but would like to have made, always feel free to contact me and ask. I will work with you to develop sketches and a digital 3D model for you to look over so that you can provide your input, which I value greatly. This helps you get the satisfaction you are looking for when you work with Thomas Fine Woodworks and are seeking out an artisan to create what you have in mind.
In all of my listings you will see the dimensions printed at the bottom of the item's description. If you see something you like in my shop but would like it in a different dimension, whether larger or smaller, that can be done. I can turn a column, lamp or pedestal up to 22 inches in diameter and to infinite length/height, 42 inches long/tall as a single piece and infinite height/length by turning in multiple sections.
